A customer brought us his new toy to have a few things looked over. Unfortunately it was full of surprises, including a worn out truck motor.
Our remedy includes a a new GM crate 454 (450hp/500lb/ft), new full Mosler 12 bolt rear end, upgraded 4 wheel discs, spal fans to keep her happy on hot summer days, and a full dyne tune and shake down.
After 1 year, Troy has brought his SS back to us for a full restoration. Unfortunately he had to sell the car, but we quickly found a good home with one of our repeat customers.
Well I’m the guy who brought this new toy into Big 3 initially for a brake and power steering conversion. I saved my way for a year to pay for the project but as you can see from the posting, this ride needed way more important help than that.
While I wasn’t prepared for the news that I received, Aaron and his crew did an outstanding job walking me through the challenges(bad news), the potential cost and just what they could turn my baby into so we proceeded. After nearly 4-months we are in the home stretch and should be done soon. I can’t wait to get it on the road.
Next fall Aaron, Jim and Ayriel are going to take care of some more less pressing fixes that need to take place. This will be an official Big 3 Performance car when they are all done…
If you need work, trust this team, I’m amazed at the customer service and the skill. I truly believe that I am not paying them for the “work” they are doing but rather the skill and knowledge they have!
