What we do

Here at Big 3 we are are many things, from a one-stop restoration shop, to a "Speed Shop"that does high performance upgrades, tuning and custom fabrication. We are also ASE certified and very comfortable with working on a wide variety of cars of all makes and models, including cars that many shops can't handle or would rather not deal with.

The driving force behind Big 3, Aaron is skilled and experienced in nearly every aspect of automotive performance and restoration. After years of working in high-end shops, Aaron decided it was time venture out on his own and was presented with the opportunity to buy Big 3 Performance in 2011 and take the business in a new direction. Aaron strives to provide results that customers will brag about and give them the proper service that they pay for.
While Aaron is a muscle car guy at heart, he is equally comfortable restoring a 32 Ford, tuning a turbo import, rebuilding a Ferrari V12, building a custom set of twin turbo headers or setting up a nitrous system on a big block chevy.

Kirk Butler

Body Technician/Painter

Kirk Butler

Born and raised in Detroit, Kirk has made his living through working on cars professionally for over 30 years. A former bodyshop owner, Kirk found Big 3 decided to return to his true calling and exchange the responsibilities of ownership and management for doing hands on work on "special" cars for passionate customers. Kirk's specialties include custom paint effects and pin striping.

Josh Vandenack

Body and Assembly

Josh Vandenack

Josh joins the team and brings a lot of hands-on experience in both mechanics and body work. When he approached us to "try out" for a position it didn't take him long to fit right in. The son of a mechanic, he is a life long gearhead who started working on cars with his dad at the age of 5 and has gone on to do complete builds of cars, trucks (both mud running and pulling) and bikes. Josh is an excellent body technician and painter and has converted several Mustang coupes into fastback and painted many truck and bikes as well. He is currently working on a 70 Mustang street/strip with a 514 big block and is very well versed in Fords and American Muscle in general.
John Ginter

Autobody Tech

John Ginter

John joins Big 3 as a body technician after several years or hanging around the shop and knowing Aaron outside of work. He keeps his coworkers in a joyful mood with his heart of gold. John is an avid hunter and takes care of his mother since his father passed away. His current project is a making a pro-street truck out of the Ford Ranger that was handed down to him by his father.

Donald

Mechanical/Parts

Donald

Don grew up as an Air Force brat and went on to attend Wyotech automotive technical school and graduate with honors. Beyond general mechanics Don focused on performance oriented engine blueprinting and head porting. After a stint as a lubrication tech at a dealership, Don joined Big 3. He has proven himself to be accurate and detail with precision measuring tool and assist with engine blueprinting. Don enjoys autocross, road course and drag racing. His current personal project is a fully built '78 Firebird set up as an all-around performance street car.
Jesse C. Morris

Mechanic/Fabricator

Jesse C. Morris

Jesse Morris grew up in Texas work on cars with his dad. After 11 years and 3 combat tours in Iraq he relocated to Green Bay and eventually ended up joining the Big 3 team. When he is not acting as Aarons personal body guard he stays busy with engine swaps, minor fabrication, electrical and exhaust work. Jesse started in 2018 and doesnthave a personal project car at this time, but we are working on that!

Jesse Bourdeau

IT//Tuning/Project Planning

Jesse Bourdeau

Jesse officially joined the team in 2013 after several years of involvement with many shop projects as our neighbor at Shelby Parts and Restoration. His flexible skill set and professional experience ranging from IT/Multimedia to automotive restoration and parts development are useful additions to the team. Jesse handles various duties including the creation and maintenance of our website, general IT tasks, various tear down and assembly work, and dyno tuning assistance. Jesse is working on several interesting personal projects, including a 450whp Flex-fuel Subaru STI and a a Coyote powered BMW E46 M3.
Jason Treptow

Mechanic / Electrical

Jason Treptow

 Jason Treptow joined Big 3 Performance in 2015 after 20 years as an electrician and maintenance mechanic in the manufacturing. He has completed ambitious automotive projects, including multiple complicated stero installations, engine swaps, wiring jobs and truck suspension/lift kit installations for himself and others in his spare time. Jason began helping around the shop on a part-time basis and a short amount of time has proven himself to be a great addition to the team. His electrical and mechanical experience make his a valuable assembler on house project cars.
